Guys, I just checked ECAS and it shows IP!! I checked earlier today also and it was still Application Received, so it must have gotten updated within the last few hours. I'm a BC PNP skilled worker applicant with a job offer and no dependants. Timeline is on the left.

It says they started processing on April 9. Here's hoping for a quick DM! I'm from a visa-exempt country so I'll be waiting for a COPR soon. I can't believe this is finally happening!!

Same as me! Im killing myself of not taking that out of my head. Just called CIC and the lady said it is still under checking situation and they have not made final decision yet. So sad!!!

I used to check my email like 10 times a day and the time I didnt check it there was an email sitting in my inbox for PPR.
But offcourse I checked it late at night ;D

Hi, can you share your timeline? At this moment, most of May and late June applicants are receiving PPR.

I haven't come across anyone on this forum who was denied PR under PNP, although it is very common under CEC.

tnx for answer! I noticed gap in my background declaration form, but now its been 8 months since app is processing in ottawa, do u think that could be reason for denial? Tnx a lot!

Do not worry about that they might ask you for new form with no gaps. I have also submitted that as I changed my address and few other applicants got the request to send background declaration form.

Hello everyone,

I'm new to this group and I'm in a very urgent situation and would really appreciate your help in.

I applied as single OPNP and just received my RPRF, however, I am getting married next month and would like to add my spouse to my application so that we can both get the PR together. From what I understand, you can add an accompanying spouse any time before a decision is made on your case. However, I have seen some posts by people that have tried to do that (Since Feb 2014) and got a response from CIC saying that they cannot add a spouse to an application that is being processed anymore.

Did anyone add a spouse recently or at this stage in their application process and it was accepted by CIC?

I would REALLY REALLY appreciate your help right now, we're both freaking out and pretty devastated at this point!!! Sponsoring a spouse post-pr takes at least 17 months!!

I think so you can add it anytime as I know one person who added his spouse at the last stage. They got married in April 2014 and added spouse in June 2014 and got PPR in November 2014.
