HI , I got a call from OPNP, asking me standard questions for their QA process about where you work, where you did your study etc....


I dont know how they going to process 2500 application for QA. ...

Another factor needed to be concerned is the applicants who got PPR in this June and passport was returned without VISA. One of my friend is in this situation and after he submitted some additional files to CIC in July. He didn't heard any news since then.

I got the QA call last week. Now I am traveling to my home country for a month and a half. I called cic and they said I can travel out of canada it won't affect the processing of my application. Is that right?

Secondly, if I receive my medical request during my stay outside canada, is it Ok if I get my medical done in my home country. Will it affect any thing?

2. You can undergo medicals from your home country.

I was told it will come in early days of January.

Anyone got in-progress yet?

I emailed them back in July and got a response like this:

Good Morning

Your file is in process with our office. An acknowledgement email and Medical exam requests were sent on 17 July 2014. Your medical exam results have been updated and are showing as complete. You have received correspondence from our office, and you will be contacted further should there be additional requirements.

My application was received on the 20th of May but still haven't got in process on ECAS yet. I wonder if it really is in process and they're just not updating ECAS or they meant my application is in the application pool waiting to be reviewed and not quite achieve the "In-progress" status. This wait is killing me.

Previously date was May 05, the same day my application was received.
Now its showing some Novembers date!

I was wondering about the same thing. I think it's just that they changed something on the ECAS infrastructure. The fact that it was previously showing May 05 (your AOR date) is probably just a coincidence.
