Hi friendkarkwi said:I have got today e-mail from CIC - Additional Information Required (this is second e-mail). I must send police certificate because I think last police cert. was expired and SCHEDULE A. It is strange because I sent this in my application and I don't leave Canada
Only Original police certificates are accepted by CIC. This is the reason why they have asked you to submit new ones. Do send the original this time.karkwi said:I'm little confused, because I send my police cert. from my country with my application. I think I sent a photocopy my police cert. with notarized translation. They send me message:
"Original documents must be received by mail. Notarized documents are not acceptable in lieu of original documents" I must do to a new police certyficate?
"Please submit an original police certificate from your country (Photocopies are not accepted by this office). Please check the CIC website (How To obtain a police certificate). You will find the link below."
Nice info buddy, thanks for shareing!!Laziophilic said:So I called CIC today and one of the agents confirmed that they had received my medicals and he told me that e-CAS team doesn't update the site due to delays and being busy.
Then they sent to me this following email:
"Thank you for contacting Citizenship and Immigration Canada. I am pleased to follow up on your request:
Information in e-CAS is not up-to-date - Most recent application status is not reflected
It is normal for some actions to not be reflected in e-Client Application Status (e-CAS) for many weeks due to the volume of information received at the visa offices and the case processing centres.
In many cases, an in-process file is actually waiting in a queue for initial review as applications are handled in the order they are received and on a case-by-case basis. The waiting time in this initial queue can be lengthy, depending on the standard processing times. Applications are processed according to the Application Processing Time at a given location.
In addition, other actions happening to your file are not shown on e-CAS (example: security checks) so it may appear as though nothing is happening to your file. But be assured that e-CAS is updated on a weekly basis"
I checked the site minutes back and I saw the updated my e-CAS the following new section:
2. We started processing your application on April 27, 2015
Yet it is still showing that they didn't receive my medical! I'll wait until the beginning of September as they should receive and processed my Police Clarence Certificate from within Canada by that time and will give them a call back.
