ECAS Shows 'Medical Received' no date against the entry. Noticed it Today 15June2015 when I logged in so it might have been updated Thurs/Fri last week or Today.

We are a family of 5 and the medical was done on the 26th May, does this mean medicals are passed?

;)

Im pretty sure mine is passed because the medical "examination" was a joke. I think kids playing doctor would do a more complete examination...

And for the blood test, at least in BC we can check online the results (MyEhealth.ca).

Hello Friends:

Any news for anyOne today?
I asked fr RCMP finger prints etc, they said it takes two weeks to get the results..
i also contacted FBI for clearance and they said they cant faster process, and that i need to apply directly to FBI..via mail (send finger prints and app form with $18 draft)...it takes for them 12-14 weeks and they clearly said, it is the standrd time for the process. i am posting this if anybody can share the recent updated info if we can get FBI clearance by any other method(the approved Channeller no more working for non-US citizens)..if there is any other way thru embassy/consulate here,,or any other way to get it done sooner or expedite it a bit?
Secondly, i paid my RPRF today...does anybody have any idea how/where to send, please?
Is it possible to call them and tell them to update my file with RPRF?
Thanks
P.S: i am just so curious if they ask for police clearance other than RCMP it ll take months (12-14 weeks) and they normally give notice of 30 days, isnt it?

yes as long as it got updated on Ecas that means you are good to go
Does this apply to everyone in the application or is it possible that someone didnt pass but others did so it still needs to be updated like that?

Someone made a spreadsheet in the August applicant's thread, which breaks down the times they've been experiencing. Most people who have gone "In Process" have taken around 290 days from their application being received. This doesn't necessarily mean that we will also take a similar time, but I think it's probably a reasonable guideline.

290 days from December 1st 2014 works out to be September 17th 2015.

As much as I hate to say it, I think all of us in the December group still have quite a ways to go. :(

So what the " In Process"really mean ?

I presume " Medicals Received" line is already a part of In process right ? As per the ECAS

No I think "In Process" is actually another step... I imagine something like before then the file is just sitting there and various different people access it (someone does the medical request, someone checks the documents, someone ensures everything is complete, etc. Then once "In Process" happens it means that the file as been allocated to a case officer to make a decision - the file is "In Process" as the last step while this case officer does final checks and makes a decision.

I could be wrong though. The whole damn thing is a massive mystery sometimes, LOL.

Hi Guys,

I went through the forum and some people say that one should pay RPRF as soon as one receives the medical request. Does it expedite the process? I went through profiles of some of the people who applied in June, July and August 2014. A few guys sent in their RPRF right after medical request before CIC asked for RPRF. Almost all got PPR within a matter of a week or two. Can anyone please comment on that based on his/her experience? CIC says that provincial nominees should pay RPRF when it is asked for at a later stage (P7500).

Thanks
