thats crazy!!!!!
Anyways, did you call cic on phone, did they confirm it? or can they confirm it via phone?

I called them a couple fo times and all they say is wait for CIO Sydney's email response. They say it can take upto 5 months for medical status to get updated. I dont think they would come back to me and tell me to get medical done for my already citizen daughter. They are just gonna fix it in their system and remove my daughter from my file.

Well they told me it might take upto 3 months

So I just called CIC Helpline to inquire regarding my ECAS not being updated to show "Medical Received". My and my spouse's medicals were sent on May 3rd while my daughter's medical was not sent as she is already citizen. The agent at call center laughed and said that it surely is a mistake and you do not have to worry about it. I asked him if he can provide me info if my medicals have been received or not and he said that he can view the information but can not share it until the processing time has passed. He told me to wait for a response from CIO Sydney to your email regarding the same. He also said that it might take upto 3 months for ECAS to be updated as the medical result get verified after they are submitted by the doctor. Now I dont know what he meant by that, if they verify medical history or something.

Just an update.

That's insane. All he had to do was say "don't worry, I can see that we've received it so you can stop stressing". But instead you have to wonder and be nervous for 16 months for no reason at all.

I wish there was a way to make CIC accountable for their terrible service, but they're at the top of the food chain and we're at their mercy. It really sucks. :(

This applies to us as well and that's exactly what he told me as well. Though did not mention a mistake [/b]!. yes he did mention 3 months.

Not sure what's happening.......... Crazy !!

Hey Guys, Ecas after 12:00 am says medical received..

Please do check your Ecas probably same thing ll be for you todayy

Good luck guys

Congrats akhan13!

I had no change to my ECAS, but I already have Medicals Received. I'm hanging out for IP, but there's less certainty for how long that will take.

Thanks man.

So far my understanding is the next step (for me at least) police clearance, finger prints, and RPRF...once that is done..IP can take from one week to a month only to say PPR...but so far, ecas is not doing great job in such cases...as ppl have got even PPr but still it says IP for some..
Anyways, good luck to you and hope both of our status will change this coming Tuesday:p

I PAID MY RPRF LAST SATURDAY AND I SENT TO SYDNEY AND BY E-MAIL MY RECEIPT.

NO UPDATE.

Guys i got status updated in ECA that medical received on 20th may .I have Question i know RPRF meaning is landing fees and that is the next procedure after medial updation ....but can any one pls tell me what is IP also correct me if I am wrong PPR means passport request isn't it???
after landing fees i mean RPRF what is next procedure....

IP means that a line on your ECAS shows up saying that "We started processing your application on <date>". Based on other people's reports, when ECAS finally updates with this the date mentioned will usually be a few days before the date you see the note.
