Is there any January applicants still waiting for DM/M or PPR???

No Dependents. Additional documents were requested in the generic email. I send them my 10 yr history again with small revisions and new passport.

If someone is still waiting, I am pretty sure you will have your PPR email this week. CIC just don't have a good system with application processing. They go through a big pile of files and I am sure every officer has different working styles. If you are still waiting for PPR, you might have a slow lazy officer.

I don't know what CIC's timeline & pattern of processing and approving applications on a case to case basis. Single or w/ dependents? Skilled or semi skilled?
You should be getting yours soon I believe.. Just keeps our all hopes high and believe it will come sooner rather than later..

Passport received by Ottawa Jan 22nd, nothing yet. I should be seeing my passport back this week. Will let you know guys!

Ya, you should receive your passport within this week. From my understanding it's taking 7-12 business days to get back passport.

Hey guys,

I got my passport back yesterday!
I didn't go to postoffice yet but I just checked on postoffice website.

I got 'ready for visa' on January 14 and sent my passport on January 15. I think they recieved on January 18. And I got it back on February 1st.

My passport already reached Ottawa today. I mailed it yesterday. That was quick. Will update you when return tracker is activated. Good luck to all.

Hi Nadsc,
We have a similar situation my dependant is in India just wanted to know does only the principal applicant receive ppr or even the accompanying spouse receives one ?

My boyfriend had to send a request to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca to change our visa to the local one in Jamaica . He made the request on the 16 and we just got a new PPR email February 1 . He over got the go ahead from CIC to submit his passport before we got the new PPR email because his work permit was expired. He will now have to land when he gets back his passport before our local office will process our passports.

Finally .. I just now received "Ready for visa" email. Such a big relief .

I wish everyone here waiting for DM/PPR received very soon. It was a big help from everyone here with unknown faces Thank you all for updating their status and let others know when they might get their status changed.
