Mine Info ltr was on GCKey right after the call and the next day DM appeared on ECAS...I had no changes on GCKey until COPR except Info ltr...after COPR it showed up on GCkey that I passed background check in June what I didn't know until COPR as it wasn't updated...

I had a GU one day...remember telling my husband to be ready for a call and then a call the next day around 4pm and GU...but before or after I don't remember...I guess a second GU was before the call ...yes

exactly 5 years. 2 years study and 3 years working.

For 5 years nobody needed to check your security. It’s ok for you to live here and pay super high international tuition fee without security. It’s ok to work here without security, it’s ok to pay tax here without security. Now all of a sudden, they realized: “oh maybe this guy is not secure haha, let’s check him”. It’s so ridiculous I can’t stand it

My work permit expired last month and i applied under new policy in June and i havent received my Work permit Extension Yet but they gave me extension letter until Oct 1st . Can i still work after Oct 1st or no ?

Terrible waiting. I got GCMS note last Friday. Note says our medical has extended from Feb/2022 to Aug/2022. Why do they extend it? 6 months are not enough to finish my security?? Weird. Terrible process.
