I have some info that cases like mine aren’t in any priority, in fact they are in “it can wait query”. My dependant and I in Canada, our work permits still valid, we are working and paying tax. There is no reason to hurry with my application. According to officer “it’s not going to make any difference”. They don’t see difference, or they don’t want to see it..

It makes sense, but not fair. All applicants who are getting eCOPR these days have also visas to stay in Canada enough. PR is not urgent to me too, but I want to get out of this terrible waiting. I can't focus on my life because of this. It feels like something around me is not clear. Life seems to be pending. Sad.

It’s sad, but they do not understand it or care about it.

do u guys thinks due to Afghanistan crisis our application will be delaying again ? - as IRCC call Centre has been allocated to assist with Afghanistan crisis and they are not giving updates on our applications anymore ,do u think its same with Immigrations officers too ??

I called just now and connected, but they support priority inquiry only today. It may be Afghanistan relation. I hung up. I don't expect any progress actually. Have a nice weekend.

its so annoying , getting stuck again almost at the last stage , my work permit is expired too and it has not been approved yet , its been almost 3 months and my extension to stay in Canada is finishing on Oct 16 - i am so worried
