I think this is IP1. IP2 is “we are processing your background check”. Anyway regardless if IP1 or 1P2, this may not be the actual status. So all we can do is wait, call cic or order notes if you want to know the actual status. Goodluck!
ahh okay! is there any one from us who cleared IP1 and now in IP2?

Still in IP1 since MEP Oct 16. I observe lately that when you require biometrics, the initial status is what they call IP2 “we are processing background check..” so not sure if it will still change until you get PPR.
Did you get RPRF or you paid upfront? It’s also indication that the application is moving.

"We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." This is IP2 status....

I've had IP2 status ("we are processing your background...") since my AOR on 10th September. I never got the IP1 message of "your application is in process".

I believe @pizzacat is right in saying that those who have had to submit biometrics have had IP2 status since the beginning.

The only real change on my application currently is that ADR status has changed to "not applicable" since RPRF payment was submitted

Many August AORs received their PPRs this week, so hoping the September AORs will receive good news in the next 2-3 weeks in Sha Allah

I paid RPRF upfront. Do we all require biometrics?
