Dear Sir/Madam,

If you need to mail us documents, please forward them to our mailbox at:

Otherwise, you can send your documents to the following mailing address:

Case Processing Pilot – Ottawa
219 Laurier Avenue West, 7th floor, section B

Canada

Our Mailing Address is imperative for Original documents requested (such as Police Certificates which must be Originals)

Yes, You can start working when your app is in process, you will get an' implied status'
if you have received your MR/AOR from CPP-O you can actually apply for Open WP
If there is US border around, try flag polling..Google it..you may get WP on the same day

Thanks Samlogani.
I did some research based on your information and found what you said in the below link. But, it does not apply for me because it requires that the "current WP to be expiring in 4 months". However, in my case, my WP just began 4 months ago. I still have 20 months validity. So, any suggestions??

Well, I think this link is more for general cases, these are rough guidelines that VOs have to follow, however, your case is special, you can write a cover letter explaining your situation, mentioning the status of your employer and your current and future concerns. and it depends on VO they may issue you a WP.

There is no harm in trying :)

If you wanna try..good luck keep us posted...otherwise its your decision

I am dealing with CIC from last 4 years and I have seen visa officers making exceptions all the time

I received PPR by email. I am also from a visa exempt country. they asked me to submit copy of passport, bit-data and photos. already 3 weeks since documents submission but still waiting.

Does anyone know if you receive PPR by email or mail? I am from a visa exempt country which means they wont require my original passport. I don't know if this makes a difference! Has anyone already been through this and have any insight knowledge?

Thanks :)

Super weird. I received a reminder from CPP-O that I have not paid RPRF for myself or my dependent, I haven't paid it for my spouse, paid it today.

They are sending me reminders and confirmations and asking for money but no PPR, why not? now i am really stressed. From my side, I have paid each and every penny and all requested docs to CPP-o, what are they waiting for, I dont get it

Any thoughts /feedback/ advice will be much appreciated

I received the same mail today, asking for rprf fees but no ppr. Could you please confirm that the rprf fee for a single applicant is 490? I got confused if it is 550 + 490 or just 490.

Thanks

490 is for the rprf.
550 is application for the PR.

Just $490. You must have paid $550 when you first sent your application.
