whats is your nationality .... my friend just god his PPR and he is from India and he applied last november, hos file went into process may 13 2013, may be this delay related to nationality? because its ridiculous because it doesnt make any sense that people applied 17 months ago and they didnt get any thing yet and other people applied 7 months ago and they got it already, i can you tell you guys that my whole future relies on getting my PPR before mid of july :S

I really don't think its related to the nationality... There are many of us with different nationalities still waiting... Besides it was not just your friend, many other november applicants have received PPR in the last few days.... Really unfair and frustrating!!!....

after they transferred our file to Cairo VO.

now with the strike , I'm feeling really lucky ???

But Cairo office should be affected. I would think otherwise. The strike is by foreign services!

hey guys i got a sad story...............i been nominated from Sk under students category............i filed my PR application .......i got my AOR and medical request 1 week back...........now my job is slow down now,,,,,,,,,,literally no job ................my boss told me he can help me to apply for Emplye insurance(EI) for my expenses......if am in EI status would it make in prob in my PR application..........its very hard to live here without job..........please help guys...

I have been in this situation twice and that as well in SK, if you go on EI you are no longer nominated, so you need to find a new job asap

thanks for your replay.....finding new job is kind of hard........bcs i have closed workpermit............so i need to apply for new workpermit........it will take around 4 month.......wat u did budy..........did u find a job.........

Hi Guys,

I am planning to write an open letter to Jason Kenney about how disappointment all of us are with the functioning of CPP-Ottawa and how it is affecting all of our lives. I'll send this letter to all the media outlets as well. As this will be an open letter, it would be more effective if it is signed by multiple people.

I am already working with a friend of mine who is also a lawyer on the wording of this letter. What would be better is if we can add individual stories on how each one of us are stuck in one way or other due to this delayed processing and how painful that is. We will also mention how all the post June applicants are getting ahead of the que. Whoever is interested, please me an email at neglectedapplicants@outlook.com and I'll get in touch with all of you there. There is no space before and after @ . May be going vocal is the only way to remind them that we are here and hurting.
