Hi @edmontonbound. Thanks for your reply. The problem with waiting until the end of the summer, besides the absurdity of the wait, is that if they only look into our files by then considering ppr time plus passport stamping time on the best case scenario we would get our pr done at the end of the year IF NOT begging of next year. Wich is absurd if you consider people from December 2012 already got their pr, while we have endure a two year wait for something that was suppose to be simple.

Quite honestly the reason why I'm so upset if because I'm stocked at a job that I hate, tht has no opportunity for growth, and the more time I wait for this stupid pr the more time and other oprtunities I lose. I honestly feel I threw 2 years of my life in the garbage. I feel like such a loser. You know what is like to wake up everyday with the same thought in your mind for two years and can't do anything about it. Thanks for your words my friend.

@Amza... I completely understand. However, they say will FINALIZE majority of the applications by end of summer. So for now, I would like to hope for one time CIC could be telling the truth. For you, it should be done and dusted by Sep 21 at the most. Good luck.

Friends of mine got the ppr on Friday. They are Feb apps.

I think you can continue to work since it's in process. At least that's how it's in the US here. You can retain your provisional status until a decision is pending on your application.

Thats what website says as implied status but they didnt even start the process...

I glanced through the article. Though it was old, it was quite informative. Thanks coshx for that. By reading the article, it appears to me that security check presently should not take more than a month or so. But the scary part is about those less than 1% that takes more than 12 months!!!!!!!!
