hello manubobby

We got an update in our Ecas today as: "We started processing your application on December 10, 2012". can you please udate our information in the table?

Hope everyone gets good news from CIC sooner.
@ Jizmilak...it is expected that they should have updated your ecas to 'in process' because that's the way CPP-O works. I am sorry if it bursts the bubble. However, after AOR & MR, the ecas will go to process when CPP-O requests additional documentations from the applicant. If one's application package is complete, then it is almost always the PPR after which ecas shows 'in process'.

I do not think that this statement 100% accurate. My ECAS changed to In-process 3 weeks ago and I did not receive any requests from CPP-O. Moreover, I sent email to CPP-O last week asking about the status and received standard response: "no actions from you at this time".

It's 100% random and vary from case to case.. My e-CAS was updated to "IN PROCESS" 3 months ago and they demanded absolutely no docs.

But that's fine, I am well under the normal processing times so the wait is not hurting.. :)

My timeline: MR / Aor received on 25-4-2012 under PNP stream and waiting for PPR

I had a change in family circumstances, I got married, I am in Skilled worker, my job is under 'B' category, my WP is expiring on 01-2013. I know my wife can come to Canada under Spouse open work permit

I e-mailed CPP-O for change in circumstances, they replied saying I should wait and a VO will contact me shortly. I am waiting for someone to contact me. I called CIC call center, they also suggested the same thing.

Just wondering, what should I do 'Proactively' except waiting to speed up the process, should I send my marriage certificate and wife's PP to the email address or should I wait for like 3 months for them to email me and take next step.

Please advise if somebody has had the same experience. How much average time CPP-O takes before contacting applicant?

Note: I applied for my GCMS notes, got them but no details, it just say that AOR / MR sent on 25-04

This is very good news, I was getting a little worried as my work permit is set to expire in June 2013.
@jenik Thanks for posting that link. :)

I ordered GCMS Notes on Nov 13 and received the same on 10th Dec. Below is the current status of my application

Assessments:

Eligibility: Not Started
Security Not Started
HIRV:
Criminality : In progress
Org Crime:
Medical: Passed
Misinterpretation:
Other Req:
Final

Due date stated for my application is Apr 26, 2012

Can someone please let me know, what do they mean by Eligibility. From my understanding the province already checked our eligibility at the time when they gave nomination.

"PNP: the “Eligibility EC-QC/PNP” status has been set to “Passed” or the Acknowledgment of Receipt letter/e-mail has been sent by the Centralized Intake Office (CIO).:

does this mean the AOR / MR we recieved on 25-April, is the basis to apply for open WP for one year in Canada?
