Dear Manubobby,

I have drove there on international indian license and had a drink & drive offence by police officer and if i apply for the TRAFFIC HISTORY REPORT they will put that offence in TRAFFIC HISTORY REPORT. because i did not attend the court there i came back from australia before my last court hearing my wife never drove there. let me know if my TRAFFIC HISTORY REPORT will not be clear. It can effect on my pr visa or not. I will really appriciate your help as pls provoide your email adress if possible or you dont mind. kindly solve my problem its a big problem.PLS REPLY

Hi Dear,

I also returned from australia in oct 2010. I was in Brisbane on spouse visa.my wife studied there.i think we dont need a fingerprint tested pcc for appling immigrant visa.i applied only name checks and got it. What i am planning to do i will confirm from the CHC general enquiry.

hi mannu,
will NDVO process our files according to AOR or DATE OF RECEIPT? any idea?.

i have no idea mate.. mine was received well in advance as compared to a few who had their application received before mine.. like darshak and pnp.. these guys got aor from cio a week before mine, but they got aor from vo a week after i got mine.. but their application changed to in process on 11th april.. mine changed on 27th april.. and that same day i got MR and PPR.. so dont really know how they work on it.. but if they are doing in the order of receipt at NDVO, i was the first to get .. so hopefully with the next week or the week after, most of you will get MR and PPR as well.. but as mentioned earlier.. ppl who are living outside of India only used to get MR first and PPR is requested at a later stage when they are ready to issue the visa.. reason being they do not want to hold their passports for too long considering they live outside INdia.. but that was under the old process where you send the documents directly to NDVO and not CIO.. hope this helps mate.. cheers .. :)

Hello Mannu & others,

I have been following this forum from days & is really helpfull understanding the time taken for various activities by the immigration officers.I want to have my details added in the sheet too, please can you do this for me?

Category........: PNP
Visa Office......: New Delhi
NOC Code......: 2283
LOA Recvd......:29/12/2011
App. sent to CIO.....03/04/2012

Few questions in my mind that you guys might be able to answer:

1. How do you know when your application was received by CIO, sydney. I sent it on 3rd of this month and have not received any info.
2. For paying fees i sent a DD, is there a way i can know whether the DD is encashed or money transferred to CIO's account? I called my banker but as per them there is no way?

Thanks,
ASJ

hiyya bud,

dont mean to burst ur bubble.. but i think ud be in a tough situation there.. since I lived in NSW, i dint have to get separate traffic reports coz it comes as part of federal PCC application, I had 2 speeding fines as well, but I went to court and paid my fines there itself, so when I got the PCC, it said I had no offences, but if I hadnt paid those fines, then it would have turned out to be an offense, what I would recommend you to do is, try and obtain a traffic history straight away, that way you will get to know if they have something against you on their records, if there isnt anything, you should be alright, if there is something, you should contact the traffic authorities directly and find out ways as to how you can resolve the problem, maybe if you pay your fines, it might be resolved and if thats the case, you could pay the fines and after that you could request for a federal PCC where it would say there arent anything against you, you cant run away from your actions mate, if you have done something like that, it would eventually affect you.

If you gave fraud documents in terms of misinterpretation, the only thing you would get is a two year ban from applying to Canada, but after 2 years you would become eligible to apply, but if u dont have a clean police record.. u become inadmissable to canada even if everything else is perfect.. so contact the australian federal police and find out how you could pay your fines and get a clean record, it might involve you spending a lot of time money and effort into it, but id recommend you to do that if you really want to move to canada.. i hope this helps mate.. good luck..cheers :)

10 months means the time from the date of receiving application, or from the date they issued AOR, or from the date they received medical report?

I really hope what they meant is it's a maximum 10 months processing time from the date of receiving the application...

please fill in all the details.. n en ill update .. cheers .. :)

the only way to know if your dd has been encashed is by calling your banker, for that, you need to have a copy of the draft, so that ull have the draft number, or if the amount was already credited to your account, then you can check that particular transaction.

you can find out the date it reached CIO using the tracking number you get from your courier company, DHL Fedex or any other.. hope this helps ..

Thanks for replying, few further queries:

1. What other information should i provide? i only have this info so far.
2. I already called my bank to know the status they said my account was debited the day DD was created & now there is no way to know when it will be encashed.
3. In this forum you have also mentioned that you received some information through email, please can you share how the subject of those emails read, want to know so that if i receive any email i easily identify it.

Thanks,
ASJ
