Visa Office: Accra, Ghana
Application to MPNP: 1st August 2011
LOA: 16th Dec 2011
Application sent to Cio on: 27th Feb 2012
PRF Deducted from CC on: 16th March 2012
AOR from CIO on: 22nd March 2012
e-cas updated on: 23rd March 2012 reads "Application Received"
e-cas updated on: 24th April 2012 reads "We received your application for permanent residence on March 5, 2012"

Please, does any1 have ideas about timeline @ CIC Accra Ghana? I have not been seeing stuffs from Ghana PNP Applicants.
Hope every1 receive letters/e-mail of joy in the coming week.

awesome news .. got MR from New delhi visa office via email just now .. woo hoo..

COngrats Manu! Thats a major achievment. Since my office is NDVO too, I had some questions in mind. (As my file reached the CIO couple of weeks after yours).

1. Did you sent the police clearance (Canadian) along with your papers?
2. When exactly is your work permit expires?? (Coz I heard that the applications are processed based on the expiry dates of the work permits
3. Since am in Canada too and working full time, if I recieve request for medical and pp, is it possible that I can send the passport through courier to India to someone known who in turn can mail it to CHC Delhi?? Are you planning to go to India personally?
4. Is it also possible to get the medicals done in India? If I plan to go there once I recieve my MR/PPR?


Sorry for bugging you with soo many questions. But these would certainly be of help to me and others waiting in line.

for those who recently received their AOR/MR:

Does the e-mail state how long the processing time is for the category you're applying for?
Mine says that it takes 10 months. (QSW)

I think it would be same for buffalo visa office mine states the same 10 months

my friend got his pasport request 2 months after his medical reached ottawa visa office but he is here in canada... i ve been following this thread for a month now and looks like the time difference between people here in canda and outside is zero...

if you sent your application to nova scotia then it should take approx 2 mths to get your medicals and 2 mths after medical to get pasport call...

My AOR stated this in the email:

Processing time
Applications for permanent residence in Canada in the category that you have applied have a processing standard of 10 months. If you have not received any instructions from this office by 120 days from the date of this letter, you are requested to contact this office directly.

10 months means the time from the date of receiving application, or from the date they issued AOR, or from the date they received medical report?
