;congrats man! this is very good news .i m happy to see that MR n PPR together . i hope to get same. anyways my e-case shaws that " IN PROCESS" its written they started process on 11th april. so in ur e-case it was sawing the same or wat? i have question because i m in canada so i want to know how much time they have given to you for medical n submission of passport . its two months or three months?

thanks mate.. n congrats on the in process.. you will hear from them soon.. .. what ive seen from other thread is that, for people who live outside of india and has NDVO as the concerned VO, they only request for MR first and when they are ready to issue the visa they request for PP.. that was according to the old rule though, could be different now, we could wait and watch..

Congrants for your MR. I thought They Have Called You for Interview. Bcoz i heard they start process for your application after they received medical results form DMP. so well i pray for everyone or all applicants. so now let me explain about my self i just lodged my application to MPNP for NOMINATON CERTIFICATE in Manitoba 3 months ago. even i didn't get AOR.I am too far.I returned from australia. IN your quote i read you re also from australia let me know which city you have lived there and have you submitted the AUSTRALIAN PCC along with your application to CIO or CHC. If provoided just inform me bcoz i applied and got my PCC from AUSTRALIA.after 9 moths I returned from there permanently. and when i will apply my application to CIO my AUSTRALIAN pcc will expire but I never being to AUSTRALIA after get PCC from AUSTRALIA.just let me know if you have any info.

Thanks a lot, yes I was there in Australia for a year, I was studying there. I moved back to India permanently as well, I was living in sydney, we need a complete a fingerprint police check from Australian Federal Police.. for this we need to take fingerprints from authorised signatories here in India and send it across along with a completed application form which is available at www.afp.gov.au .. you should also make a payment for $105 AUD.. I sent the application via courier and they say it would take 35 working days.. but i got mine back in 20 days.. Also, when you send the PCC to CIO, it should not be older than 3 months even if you left australia much before, in my case I left Australia in Oct 2010, but I still applied for PCC in Dec 2011 when I was preparing my documents for application to CIO.. hope this helps.. cheers

Is there anyone who has NDVO, but doing medicals out of Country. I am planing to do it in US and send passport through my wife.
Is there a procedure to follow if I am doing medicals out of India? Please let me know if anyone is in my situation.

Please, does any1 have ideas about timeline @ CIC Accra Ghana? I have not been seeing stuffs from Ghana PNP Applicants.
Hope every1 receive letters/e-mail of joy in the coming week.

COngrats Manu! Thats a major achievment. Since my office is NDVO too, I had some questions in mind. (As my file reached the CIO couple of weeks after yours).

1. Did you sent the police clearance (Canadian) along with your papers?
2. When exactly is your work permit expires?? (Coz I heard that the applications are processed based on the expiry dates of the work permits
3. Since am in Canada too and working full time, if I recieve request for medical and pp, is it possible that I can send the passport through courier to India to someone known who in turn can mail it to CHC Delhi?? Are you planning to go to India personally?
4. Is it also possible to get the medicals done in India? If I plan to go there once I recieve my MR/PPR?


Sorry for bugging you with soo many questions. But these would certainly be of help to me and others waiting in line.

thanks a lot, first of all ... no worries.. ur not bugging.. we are all here to help each other..

but i doubt if i can answer all your questions coz im currently living in India and not in Canada, so not aware about how you get the canadian PCC or work permit..

but i do know that you cannot courier your passports.. its illegal to send or receive passports in india via courier, so maybe you could send it through someone who is travelling for a long stay to india and when they return, they can bring it back to you and you could write a letter authorizing your friends to do so, the second option would be for you to come down in person and then send it to NDVO..yea .. i guess it should be ok to medicals in India, but you need to notify VO and it should one of the authorised DMP. guess its cheaper to do medicals here, it comes to only 3000 rupees as compared to close to 300 $$ in the US/canada.. or so ive read in other threads.. hope this helps.. cheers
