I agree with billooocheung and believe the same thing Holygun you are next to receive MR.....since applicants till Feb 8 recevied it and you are next.....cross your fingers......

Guys I need some advice....


As you know I sent my application to CIO on Feb/17/2012. Nothing received from them yet. I checked my e-CAS with my UID it says. Application received (just this no additional stuff, and that was posted around end of March/2012.)

I called CIC contact number couple times at mid-March and First week of April. I was TOLD my application is in Sydney, NS still, and they are working on it.



TODAY: I called CIC again. They put me on hold for 7 mins to check where is my application and CIC said. My file was sent to OTTAWA end of February 2012. and they are working on it.

I haven't received any letters or AOR from anywhere/anybody yet.

I am told to FAX a letter to Ottawa office to get further updates about my application.

What the heck is happening/happened?

Please advise!

dnt worry..im also going thru this procedure...im also send my file to NS,but they transfer to Ottawa nd i got my med from Ottawa.
so have patience u will get ur med soon.

really? how about bkd1969? my file received on Feb 1 and cashed on Feb 23. nothing happened.

the point I want to make here is that we need to be of patience. as mentioned before, BUFFALO-VO-NON-QSW applicants all stuck there. NO movement, for the reason nobody knows. SO, we, the BUFFALO-VO-NON-QSW applicants must hold the breath and wait.

By the way, I was checking the trackitt tracking sheet, and somebody that applied in December already received Pastport request (Buffalo), so lets wait for the best for everybody. Keep hope..Cheers

oh and manu, i went through my application form, I missed the email address field. I'm so stupid. I guess I only paid attention to the field required. I emailed cic though, but I haven't received any reply yet. hope they can save my email address that way.

dont worry about it mate, that would probably be the reason why there was a delay in getting your AOR, you might wanna update your email details with your application to Manila visa office, so they will send out other requests via email for future correspondance.. good luck mate.. cheers ..

Hi guys, Good news for me

I received letter yesterday from CIC new Delhi with bar codes on the top with UCI/application # that they have received my letter from CIO and it will take 6 months for processing.

They are also saying please do not contact us for 6 months.

im sorry .. but a couple of your guys like .. pari.. holygun and gns.. how can you access ecas without your AOR?? I mean dont you get your UCI or application number with your AOR from CIO?? please confirm guys .. cheers

I'm actually a QSW applicant (priority), and most probably I was assigned Buffalo (because I currently live in Canada). My application was received February 27th, cheque cashed March 26th, but I have not heard back at all regarding my application...

It seems like applications received in February are being processed much more slowly. For example, myself, Pari123, and Holygun = our applicantions were all received late February but nothing yet...)
