oh n guys.. if any of you just post your information just the one time to be part of the thread and then dont revisit the forum or dont update your current status, please dont bother putting in your information in the first place, sset and I, we have done this voluntarily in order help people understand what the timeline is and maybe help future applicants, so if you guys dont keep the tracksheet upto date, what happens is we might actually think there is a considerable delay, I do understand in some cases there are, but some cases there arent, for eg: Twix96, I dont mean to be rude, but you never updated your information on this thread after the initial one, and after that I keep checking the tracklist for filippinos and I see your information there and I update it here, so if you or anyone else, if you dont really wanna be a part of this, then please save us the trouble, its not like we are dedicated to doing this all the time, we have full time jobs as well. So please guys, try to understand and I am not trying to offend anyone here, just a request, it would be great if you guys could help out.. cheers ..

im sorry .. but a couple of your guys like .. pari.. holygun and gns.. how can you access ecas without your AOR?? I mean dont you get your UCI or application number with your AOR from CIO?? please confirm guys .. cheers

Hello manubobby, I received the UCI when I first came here i.e study visa and then work permit. So I can check with UCI number.

I have a question, hope someone could answer...

I am a QSW applicant currently in Montreal. My application was received by the CIO on Feb 27, cheque cashed March 26, but I have received nothing yet from any office. So I called CIC yesterday and the agent told me my application is in Ottawa. She also said that the next step in the process is that my application will be forwarded to the visa office I requested in my application form. I requested for Manila (based on my nationality).

My question is -- do other applicants in the Manila office (or other visa offices for that matter) have their files going to Ottawa first before going to the Manila VO? 'Cause I thought Ottawa was only for those with Buffalo VO...

Hi Manu just did my Meds last April 17 Tuesday but my wifey and daughter have to go back to complete a lab. test no serious matter just a lab. process due to their femininity, so technically its not complete yet. Will update the info for our threadsheet asap once everything is clear. Thanks.

Hi manubobby I'm not so sure what would be the official medical done? my daughter and I had our medicals March 22..my wife had her medical April 3 we have to delay it a little bit bcoz of her menstrual period during that time..maybe you could help me with this..thanks

Congrats Ariza where did you took your medical check up? I did my medicals w/ my family on the same date as yours @ NHSI in Makati but the ladies have to go back so technically we are not yet finished. Hope you received positive results on your medicals.

My update: Nothing is happening........... :-[ At least when I spoke with my visa office ,they said:
"wait 6 months more for the AOR."

Guys I need some advice....


As you know I sent my application to CIO on Feb/17/2012. Nothing received from them yet. I checked my e-CAS with my UID it says. Application received (just this no additional stuff, and that was posted around end of March/2012.)

I called CIC contact number couple times at mid-March and First week of April. I was TOLD my application is in Sydney, NS still, and they are working on it.



TODAY: I called CIC again. They put me on hold for 7 mins to check where is my application and CIC said. My file was sent to OTTAWA end of February 2012. and they are working on it.

I haven't received any letters or AOR from anywhere/anybody yet.

I am told to FAX a letter to Ottawa office to get further updates about my application.

What the heck is happening/happened?

Please advise!

I think it would be and is same because its unique client id, so it doesnt matter if its for Study, work or PR

Well i think u r wrong here Pari. i have 2 PR applications at NDVO & both have diff. UCI.

Any other opinion guys ???????

Hi, did you put xxxx-xxxx for UCI, because I was making mistake jst putting UCI as xxxxxxxx instead of adding "-".
