one of my colleague was told that he has to stay for 3 years after landing when he went for flag polling ... he didn't sign anything ... isn't it true that when we were nominated we were told by the province that our Pr application were to be finalized by federal government that is cic and not the province itself ?? and a permanent resident of canada has the right to move and work in any province he wishes to... i want it to be clear before the time comes when i decide to move out

Did the stupid mistake of checking August 2012 thread only to see those folks are already getting they're PR card. A process that in itself takes 6 weeks. Wow. This means not only thy finalize, landed and finish they're application they even have the card. Depressed.

Can u plz tell me how to send personal history and copy of passports with the email cic sent us? And what should we write down in the subject of the mail? I will b thankful if u reply early..

@ Rony84...... I made a table in MS word similar to Table 8 in the IMM5669 FORM (background declaration form) and filled it. I scanned my passport pages showing my name and expiration date in pdf format.
Subject of the email : updated personal history and copy of passport (File # EPXXXXXXXX)
Attach the files and mention your UCI #, NAME & Date of birth.

@ Rony84...... I made a table in MS word similar to Table 8 in the IMM5669 FORM (background declaration form) and filled it. I scanned my passport pages showing my name and expiration date in pdf format.
Subject of the email : updated personal history and copy of passport (File # EPXXXXXXXX)
Attach the files and mention your UCI #, NAME & Date of birth.

They are on strike outside Canada, EU, China, India etc but CPP-O is still working. No strikes from CPP-O guys.

Were you asked to submit personal history and copy of passport, or did you send them in the hope of triggering faster processing ?

Yes I also hope so, my file went in process on 30 April.
As I have added my spouse in my file and in GCMS notes for her Meds column was blank, I Emailed CPP-O to confirm that why the column is blank and do they want us to go for one more medicals as she went for her meds in Feb 2013, they replied in less than 24 hours saying that her and my meds are still valid, they will contact us if they need a document to "FINALIZE" my application.

From the language of the email it was kind a clear that I have done all my part and only thing I need to do now is to wait for the PPR email.

I dont know what is stopping them? Give us the PR and than Inquire about security and criminality etc, if they find us inadmissible they can always deny citizenship.

I sent them in February without being asked to trigger my processing. Didn't work though. I sent RPRF and updated personal history. I never sent my passport copies. Mine went to process as per Ecas on May 32, 2013. Please note that I never received any email from CIC as of today.

I am submitting my work permit renewal application tonight. Hope I get the PPR before work permit nothing I can do else... I gave up.
