No problem...just to let everyone know,people who got ppr(medical in Jun/July)Already got their passports back WITH magic V...It just took 10 days for them after ppr to get passports back!!!

I have heard this before like you can't send Passport outside of India by any kind of Mail Service, but I am not sure about sending Passport from Canada to India. I would suggest check if you someone you know whoz going to India, its holiday season lot of people going to India.

I flew to Detriot yesterday, got my Landing Visa and other DOCs like COPR etc. All set to land soon in QC. It was great fun following this forum. I must say it was very useful.

@ QBCool when you got your landing visa from Detriot, didn't you land on your way back to Canada. My question is if one can travel to Detriot and decided not to land on his way back to Canada?

I work and live in the US on US Visa. Now that I have collected my COPR and PR Visa for CAN, I will decide to land soon.

Thanks! I may or may not inport my car actually (not yet decided, but I will surely add it to my list of goods to follow). I might just consider buying a new car in CAN rather than importing the old one there.

Hello, Congrats QBCool...
If you have a chance I will recommend bring your car, and after you have settle you can decide buy a new one, giving time to build a credit history at least you have cash enough to pay for or a family that would be a credit co-signer. Your US credit history in the states is not going to be useful here. In the other hand some things are more expensive here that in the USA. This is my opinion, simple advice...

to confirm
my NB PNP application which was received on 27 Jul will be forwarded to Visa office in Singapore for further proccessing.

Only a minor question if there is any shorter timeline given by CIC Singapore for me, an applicant who has currently a son below 17 years old studying in NB for more than a year?

Otherwise in general timeline, please advise how long we should keep waiting for M.R.

Its brutal..I got AOR on 25th April, submitted my medicals on 1st of may 2012, still waiting for my PPR.

Its been mentioned in E-amil that I will be getting PPR in 120 days, its been more than 185 days and I haven't heard anything :-X :-\ from them yet
