Hi Manubobby, I really just returned every once in a while to this forum (after completing my own process and providing my status) just to see what's up with your application (did you finally get it or not). I agree with bkd1969, one can really get frustrated by hoping each day for something to happen, patience is the key. My suggestion would be to just ignore the process and time will fly...up un-till the day the PPR email is in you inbox as bkd said.

PNP File Transfer To CIO Sydney, Nova Scotia - December/ January

Landing Experience by Car: Yesterday I drove from US to QC CAN border to land as PR, when I arrived at the border I spent 5 minutes at the drive thru counter where the first officer asked me for my PP, he then asked for the purpose of my visit. I mentioned "landing". He then made a few notes...

Thanks! I may or may not inport my car actually (not yet decided, but I will surely add it to my list of goods to follow). I might just consider buying a new car in CAN rather than importing the old one there. Landing probably by Land..in my car....Probably drive to QC from US Short in the...

Correct, I have been living in the USA since the last 8 years, I dont need a visa to travel within USA. Alright, so from what I understand, although I applied for PR from outside Canada, I am still eligible to submit and collect my passport the same day from Detroit. I was just confused with the...

PNP File Transfer To CIO Sydney, Nova Scotia - December/ January

I am a bit confused. The below link states the following. I applied for CAN PR from outside Canada (i.e. USA) and got my PPR email from CPP-O, my question is - do I have the option to submit my passport in person to the Detroit office? Has anyone who applied for Can PR from the US, submitted...

Yes, finally got the PPR email today. More of a relief than happiness really at this point. I got the PPR today, so the Tue theory for CP-O is just rubbish. Anyways, I am glad that the wait is finally over.

I agree with prasamp, the US visa sometimes does go over the head. I had my US visa stamped a total of 5 times so far...earliest I got it stamped was the very next day and latest was 5 weeks due to delay in processing. My suggestion would be to plan wisely.

There is way too much desperation, this will make life go crazy if we literally count hours, etc. This is immigration and it takes time. Just relax a let 2-3 months go by...you will be surprised to find the good news down the line. The best way to look at it is to forget about it for a few...
