The process you mentioned make sense. Looking at the way they have functioned thus far is consistent with this theory. I just hope when the open our file they find everything in there and don't need to assign a new date to review it again later.

I just wonder when e-cas will change to 'in progress' for cpp applicants with 'medicals recd'. It's such a frustrating wait. I am sure it's going to be several months after 'in process' to get PPR.

You need to use your UID (from your AOR) to check your status on ecas, if they have recd your MR then it should update on ecas within 2-3 weeks or so.

Once this whole thing gets over, we surely deserve a get together ;D

The tracking status says they recd it on 23rd, but there has been no action from the VO to indicate anything. I was expecting it to take a week or two for the VO to update the e-cas status, but nothing yet - it's been several now. ???

Good! worked out for you! You may have reduced at least a month of delay, sometimes it's just worth taking such calls by being proactive.

Yes "Application Received" is all that you need to ensure for the moment.

Yes sounds like very rude behavior. You can't go too hard on them as they still have your results to mail, you don't want anything to mess up at this stage, so don't fight with them and just gently keep pestering them till they mail out the results. My clinic staff was rude too I almost...
