Dear Umair & Malik,

My IELTS result is going to expire end of this month and I don't get file number until now.
Please comment how it will affect my application.
Does CIC will ask me for valid IELTS result again or not?

brother CIC will not ask for ielts beacause they had a policy that when your file reached to CIC NS ielts and noimation should be valid if they expire after that period when your file in possession of CIC they did not ask for that ... but when your file transfers to LVO visa officer must ask you for ielts Valid .. so now you have a chance to give fresh ielts and improve your results..

It means, I have to retake IELTS.... which is annoying for me as I already have 7 band.

yes you should have valid ielts when your file reachs to local visa office if it is not visa officer asked you for that and gives 60 to 90 days ,,, so do before they asked that saves your time .. 7 is very good according to 2241 keep it maintain

I think you should retake the IELTS. it will save your time at LVO. as Umair said.

i have checked with a guy who applied for immigration under PNP category. his case got to late whie the other guys who applied along with him got PR. he told me when he checked with CIC office, they told that they random check few files background in detail which took more time then other so it means ur case is still in background checking, like umair got reply. so wait and pray.

yes bro i also heard about that they pickup random files for background check in PNP and similarly they pick up random files for interview in FSW category

may be my file was chossen for this check because had no travel history no huge background history and no spousal relationships .. so i thought it was easy to them check each detail

yes we all are outlands for outland applicants they first do eligibility review then background check ad then Medical request process are bit diffrent from inland apps
