Good mrng

I came to canada as student in 2011and got approved for manitoba provincial nominee program on sep2013. Applird the pr two weeks back.

All of sudden I got engaged week ago and expected to be married is may 2014. I am confused with 3 options which to opt to get my spouse to Canada.

Case1: after marriage I wanna bring her on visitor visa. Once I get pr then I gonna apply spouse pr under family class (if this case is right, can she work till she get her pr)

Case2: Is der any scope that I can inform cic after my marriage to add her to my process( if so, till we get pr she can't come to canada right??)

Case3: She gonna come 2 canada by her own as a visitor. Later on, We gonna marry in canada. (Is dat possible)

Can smeone help which would be best one or even anyother option, please let me know.

Thanks

If you get married before you land in Canada as a PR - then you MUST add your wife you your application. You cannot land as a single person or you will never be able to sponsor your wife and may lose have your own PR status revoked.

If you do not get married before you land in Canada as a PR - then she can try applying for a visitors visa so that she can come to Canada and get married here. Or you can return home and get married there. Once you are married you can then sponsor her for PR as your spouse.

Thanks for reply.

On what basis she has to apply visitor visa?? Dependent or some other option like tourist.

Once she get herDependent visitor, is she eligible to get workpermit??

She would apply on the basis of being a tourist. There is no guarantee she would be approved. In fact, it can be quite difficult to be approved for a visitor visa if you have a spouse in Canada.

No - she wouldn't be eligible to get a work permit. To get a work permit, she would first need to find an employer in Canada who is willing to offer her a job and that employer would have to obtain an approved LMO.

ha,ha,ha, can't stop laughing.."All of the sudden I got engaged a week ago...", reminded me of the "The Hangover" movie with those 4 guys getting drunk in Las Vegas, waking up being married...

What do you mean "all of the sudden"?...ha,ha,ha :D

Dear,

It is possible to get engaged 'all of a sudden'. It all depends on the God's wish and 'love' can come in your life anytime without actually noticing it. Please do not take it as my own experience :).
