Hi guys!
I applied for a study permit on May 7, passed the medicals on the 28th and refused June 3rd for the reason:
Employment prospects in country of residence
Personal assets and financial status
My profile
What should I do to make my case stronger when I reapply?
Any help is highly appreciated.
I applied for a study permit on May 7, passed the medicals on the 28th and refused June 3rd for the reason:
Travel historyYou have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this
decision, I considered several factors, including:
- Travel history
- Employment prospects in country of residence
- Personal assets and financial status
- I never traveled out of my country in my whole life. However, I was refused a tourist visa to the U.S. in 2002, because according to the VO who interviewed me, I was too young to travel.
Employment prospects in country of residence
- I am a little confused about this because I am self-employed. I have two businesses.
Personal assets and financial status
- I showed 55,000 CAD in my bank account, 2 cars under my name, 1 land, but no title yet since I bought it just recently and transferring the owner's name to my name takes a couple of months, and of course, the 2 businesses that I own.
My profile
- 34 years old
- Single
- Graduated Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering in 2002
- Self-employed (I run an internet cafe/computer shop and a sound system rental)
- 7.0 overall IELTS score
- Accepted at Fanshawe College for September 2015 intake in Music Industry Arts diploma program of 2 years with total tuition of 32,000 CAD
What should I do to make my case stronger when I reapply?
Any help is highly appreciated.
