PLS HELP! Study Permit Refused Due to 3 Reasons

It seems like , its your 2nd time for a canadian visa .

1. Did you mentioned about your US refusal , why it happened . ( Travel history )

2. Did you attached your Business registration or bussiness account statment or current account ststment .. to show its an authentic and real business and you are really self emmployed . ( emplyment ).

3.As you have already shown 55000 cad . Did u attached anything for proof of payment ike ITRs or business related statment or stuff ( fiancial )

If no , collect these things and apply for a CAIPS to know exactly the reason and apply again .

Its never too late

1. Yes. I mentioned it and the reason why I was refused.

2. Yes. I attached business permits, business registrations which are all under my name.

3. I only submitted bank certificate and bank statements of 4 months but no ITR. I think this could be the reason.

I see tht u have shown 55000CAD. This proves the fact tht u have made this money some how and ur successful back home. What will be the reason fr u to abandon ur successful business and come to Canada to study? U can say passion and interest,but tht needs to proven on papers some how for CIC (this is dumb,but thts their requirement).

Think outside the box,the person who is dealing with ur immigration papers r not always very bright.Some fact might be very obvious fr u,but it should also be reflected in the same manner to the immigration officer.

On one side they say we need clever minds to immigrate to Canada and attain their PR, they also refer to PGWP as route to PR but on the other end they wnt u to prove tht u will exit the country after ur permit expires.

In my opinion expecting a student to return back home is a stupid expectation as a student main intension is to study,get a job and settle in Canada,they are very well aware of this and they also encourage it but they always prefer the opposite on papers

Yes, I know it's not that easy to convince the VOs about our intention. I admit that after graduation, I'd like to apply for PGWP, and after gaining 1 year of Canadian work experience, I am going to apply for PR. I know that is everybody's intention. At least I am planning to stay in Canada the LEGAL WAY.

Sorry to correct u buddy, but its not illegal. First of all u can wrk in Canada with an off-campus work permit (Nowadays given immediately to students). This will be offered to u until the valid period of study. U can wrk weekly 20hrs during ur regular school days and weekly 40hrs during scheduled breaks

Yes, I know about that policy. It's just sad that I was refused when I have my own money and others who have no money at all but they are sponsored are approved with student visas.

1. Yes. I mentioned it in my SOP. I was refused for a U.S. tourist visa just because I was too young according to the VO who interviewed me.

2. Yes. I attached authentic business permits and registrations under my name.

3. No, I didn't attach ITR. Only bank certificate and statements.

Hi Floje ,

You have to show the proof of funds which you have shown . ITRs and a letter from CA showing income from your business and any other means and mentioning any other assets can do the job for you . I think this will clear up the financial thing .

And CAIPS note will surely help in finding any other issues with your apllication .

Okay bro. Is it fine to show only 1 year ITR? Or are monthly percentage tax returns enough if no ITR? I declared small amount of ITR for last year so I can save my hard-earned money for the corrupt Philippine government.

It is a major thing in proof of funds . Yes , one year itr is enough but you need to show atleast 8000-10000 cad per annum as your income.

It will surely be a bad effect if you donnt put itr or put itr showing very little income.


Also , consult a CA who can give you a letter stating your monthly business incme, assets and itr and other funds. AS , financials are a major reason of your refusal , you should do the most as u can.

No.. you miss something. The music program is not combined with engineering course..... You should find a better course as a PG diploma or master degree. Not a diploma. Diploma is for high students who just finished their school...

Your course mismatch is not a problem. No one is so stupid to give importance to matching courses rather than seeing what u r into currently. We study to work, not work to study. Whatever your study was, u r currently working and that's important. I guess you have to mention what according to you your selected course will bring benefits to you and your current condition. U have to convince the VO about future prospects the chosen course will bring u. And mind it, it should be good. And in your case, the chosen course is very lightly seeming to bring prospects to your work, coz u r more into business and less of a sound technician wen compared to others in this field. I think, applying for a business management will sound more reasonable to your case.
