Dayanara - the FBI recieved my prints on May 17, too!! Let's keep each other posted. Did you post a request time? I had mine for June 21st, obviously I knew that wouldn't happen, but hoped it would help. It's also my 4th attempt, 3rd after 2 rejections.

Thanks Dayanara!!! This forum is making me feel a little bit better about the FBI request. I hope to god they don't have probs with his prints >:( Crossing my fingers for all of us!!!

I still cannot believe you have had so many rejections, ugh...

We did June 30th as our request, not too soon, but not the full 12-13 weeks they were predicting on their website.

I keep bugging my husband asking him daily if they have showed up, hehe. I hope they show up this week because I am going down to visit him and would be convenient to have them there for me to bring home and immediately send in our application finally.

Every time I call, they won't even look my name up because it "hasn't been 10 weeks yet". So I have no clue. I hope so too. Their wait time is 10 weeks right now, so they say. Which is better than the old 13 weeks :)

i received mines in February 2010

it took me about 3 months to receive it and it was dated for Jan 25
On the letter it says received 11/10/2009 Returned 1/25/2010. I got it in the mail in February.

Does this mean i had to mail it out before April 2010 is mine expired

CIC recvd my application on May 19th and I was approved for first stage with an AOR. Do i need to do this ridiculous FBI thing again i have no record :-\

I mailed off my second request yesterday.
This time I sent three sets of prints. I feel a fair bit more confident in them.

My first set was received on March 9, 2010
Received rejection notice on June 23, 2010

Mailed second request on June 28, 2010
Going to mail off application without FBI clearance but including proof of second set sent and the notice of rejection/emails I shared with FBI.

nyssa, are they really processing in 10 weeks now?
I looked on the site and it says 12 weeks.

SaugaBoss - The police certificate can be no more than 3 months old (90 days) from when CIC recieves your package. So if I am reading your post correctly, yes they are expired. If your police certificate is dated "01/27/2010" and you mailed your application out in May, then yes they are expired. CIC will hopefully just send you a letter stating they need new prints. To save time, I would go ahead and get more prints done. I'm so sorry, I really do understand how frusterating fingerprints are :(

CMP - The FBI office has told me numerous times 10 weeks now, at least since I sent mine in May. Yours in June should be about the same but I'm not sure, maybe it is 12 weeks now for June applicants. One guy on the phone told me that those with previous rejections get theirs sooner. This was true in the past. My first rejection took 12-13 weeks. The second only took 8. I'm shooting for the 8 weeks again now. I'm currently on week 6 :)

Thanks i am getting them done ASAP :( since i just got approved i hope they wont slow down any process. even if you request the FBI to send them earlier they dont! i wish they just ask for my state ones because those come in one week.

so if i send my fingerprints in July for FBI i will be receiving the certificate in September according to the timelines ???

whats the number you can call i know i used to call a number they changed the whole format of it now.

i have prints from october 2009 i can use those right or do i need new ones?

I can't imagine why you can't use fingerprints taken in October as long as they're unmarked by the FBI. I'm not certain whether or not the FBI has an expiration date on fingerprints taken.

Their number is (304) 625-5590.

thank u i went ahead and got new finger prints done just incase :)

thanks for the number i found it on the site as well

I sent my letter to the FBI on April 26th and have not heard anything yet.

Has anyone received them that has sent their letter since then??

we sent our prints on June 1st. haven't heard anything yet. I figure we probably have another few weeks....hopefully it's soon for both of us! I am going to include proof that we sent the prints out in the application, but will probably have to send the application with out the FBI record.

Is there a number we can call to check up on it? To see if the prints were rejected or not? It would definitely help speed up the process if we can send new prints before the rejection letter comes back.

I've posted the number several times, search either this thread or forum. You can google it online also.
