Hi everyone, I have a couple of questions and I would find really helpful if somebody could give me a good advice. I am a Canadien citizen ( I was 5 when we moved to Croatia). At September 2011 I came to Canada, and my boyfriend came a month after me ( he is a Croatian citizen). We got married a month after he came. He was in Canada as a visitor. At September 2012 we went back to Croatia together. While living together in Croatia, in June 2014 we decided that we would like to move to Canada and start our lives there. So we came here! Now we are making his PR papers under family sponsorship ( outside Canada application).

1. How can I provide a proof of income if I am unemployed as I am 7 months pregnant?
We are currently living with my brother who wrote a letter for immigration saying that our marriage is real, and he mentioned that he is providing shelter, food and basic needs for us . Will that be enough? I saw that the Sponsorship evaluation asks for personal net income, what should I put here?
2. As a proof of our relationship I have some photos. Can I just glue them to a paper, 2 photos per sheet and write the description on the back of the paper or is it better to have them loose and just write on the back of the picture?
3. Do I as a sponsor need to fill the Additional Family information too or just the applicant needs to fill this form?
4. Sponsor questionnaire asks for my mothers information ( name, date of birth, address). As my mother has passed away, should I fill this and what should I put as the address?

Thank you so much for helping me! ;)

1. If you have no job, you need to write up a good 'plan' for how you and your husband will support yourselves once he is issued his PR. If he has skills that he will be able to employ once he is able to work, you can write all of this down. Essentially you have to give CIC a good workup about how you and your spouse will NOT get welfare once he is a PR.

The letter from your brother is a good start to how you are currently supporting yourselves.

2. No, leave them loose and do not glue them or affix them to anything.

3. You do not need to fill in this additional family form. Only the primary applicant will fill in the forms listed in the applicant section. You fill out ONLY those forms listed in the sponsors section.

4. Fill in all the information for your mother. In her address you can put her last address before she became deceased or you may just write deceased as her address.

Regarding the pictures, realize that they do not give them back. If you can print them (if they were on a computer) or get
a good color photo copy you can keep the originals. I printed all my pictures after I put them into a MS word document,
listed the names (and relationship to) each person in the picture, the date and place of the picture. This was a lot of work,
but my lawyer said it looked very thorough.

I know they don't give them back so these pictures are just copies. I made around 50 pictures and I will write the description on the back of each one, hope that will be ok.

Not sure if this helps, but if you or especially the applicant has educational credentials such as university degree(s)
or skilled profession certificates (dietician, special trade certifications) sending proof of those in as supplemental
documentation might show the financial earning potential.

That is not always true, I received all my pictures back plus some other proof that I sent (wedding invitation, cards, etc.)

But generally speaking, you do not give them something that has sentimental value, because there is no guarantee you will receive it back.
