where do we get out PR card application?? we never got it with the visa and we were not informed to bring any photos with us if we get it from the airport.

Hi, i know that they give the PR application papers at the airport upon the arrival as per pics I am not sure about that... You may have to get more done when sending in the application but keep me informed as I would like to know as my hubby should be landing soon if Gods willing lol

Just call the call centre and find out where your card is. You should automatically receive the card 1 month after landing, as for pictures, they probably used the ones you submitted with the application, if not the airport should have taken new ones for your card when they submitt your final landing papers for processing.

Either way, call the call centre and find out, some times it takes the processing centre 2 months before they contact the local CIC office to say the phot was missing and that you need to submit new ones before they can issue your card. Much faster if you fine out on your own.

Yes, there is no application... When you hand in the copr paper(the one you got with your visa), they should confirm mailing address and tell you to expect your card in 6-8 weeks... They use the pics provided with the original application

Yes, so if you "land" at an airport, you are sent to immigration area immediately with your landing docs. They will do the slightest interview ryt there, unless there is a major issue. Basically want to know where you are living, your sponsor, what you are bring with you etc etc. Then, normally if there is a problem with the photos (they are outdated), they should have a cam and take the picture for you that gets attached to your doc and serves as your photo on your PR card. In 1 month or so, no more than 8 weeks for sure, you should get your card in the mail at your canadian address. If for some reason you don't receive it, definetely call and inquire. Most times when its not received, it's due to the photo quality.
