Please help! Passport not returned

My husband had an interview for a trv the other day. After the interview he was told to wait outside, but an officer later called him and told him there was a delay in security from Canada and they would call him when his passport was ready to pick up. How long should it take for them to call us? Also does this mean he was approved? They never told him if he was denied or approved. Thanks!!

It means when the security is complete a decision will be made whether to grant or reject it.

Do you have any idea of how it will take? He applied on August 29th and then his interview was this past Thurday (october 4th), should they not have done the security check before they decided to interview him?!

I don't know how long it takes in CPP-O and no one knows what their process is, so you will need to exercise more patience. Hopefully, after the thanksgiving holiday(Monday) the officers are in good cheer and your hubby hears back.

Thanks. Does anyone else seems to know how long this next step will take? My poor mother keeps booking our flights and then having to change them
