Hello All, I need some urgent help. I was working in a TEER 3 job for 19 months. The employer had provided me the employement letter and I was paid accordingly. I have all my pay stubs, T4s, and Notice of Assessment in line with my pay as per TEER 3 job. However, I quit my job in May 2025 and then joined a new one. The employer did not like this and hence I had some arguements with him. The ROE he has issued has a different role which falls under TEER 5. During my entire employement with him, he has never communicated about any change in my role. He knew that I have recieved an ITA recently so changed my role on ROE from TEER 3 to TEER 5. He is alsi threatening me that he will report IRCC that my role was in TEER 5 and not TEER 3. However, the employer letter ha had issued last year has my role and responsibilites that align with a TEER 3 job.

He is not ready to issue me a new Employement letter. Can this change in role on ROE cause any issues to my PR application? Please advise..

Your actual employment can be verified by evidence. So, if you actually worked a job title, you can back it up by showcasing evidence that should point so! If you have a proof that your employer has threatened you, maybe evaluate your options and take him to the court. IRCC won't act on his words alone if you can prove malice from employer. Isn't ROE for employees that are laid-off though? You are claiming that you quit your job in May 2025, that's why I'm asking.
