From what you say, he is applying as a "worker", and you can find out more about those situations in "Skilled Worker/Profession Immigration". Just click up one level, and instead of clicking "Family Class Sponsorship" which is where we are now, click "Skilled Worker/Profession Immigration".
There are other people in the same situation, who applied as worker as a single, got married, etc. They would have shared their experience, for example whether there are any delays in adding the spouse, how long the delay, what to do, etc.
Another poster mentioned that your husband may only have gotten CSQ and not approved for the PR yet.
What may happen is that he still lands himself first, and then sponsor you separately.
Whatever the situation, before your husband lands in Canada (even if the visa is granted), he has to update his application to reflect his now married status, you have to do your medical, etc. Before he lands, he is still not a PR, so things can still be changed. Even if CIC does not catch him for misrepresentation, not adding you to the application will mean you never get a chance to be sponsored.
Good luck. I hope you can work things out with your husband.
