Thank you, but we aren't planning to move until probably April or May since I just arrived in Canada (2 weeks ago) and I will be going back at the end of January :) It all depends when he has to land by (which should be the beginning of May, if we go by the medicals expiration date) :)

We got the PPR request 3 weeks before my husband's status changed to DM (on ECAS), and he's been waiting almost 2 weeks for them to return his passport.

Hi taniam00, Something strange happened with our application too. My husband got the PPR request on October 12th (he sent the PP on the 18th) BUT today (Oct 27th) the background check is "in progress", nothing else has changed on ECAS or myCIC for quite some time.

Put the address that you are living at, if you get mail where would that be?? If CIC sent you mail to your address in your home country and you aren't there, how will you reply to them?? It doesn't matter if you are applying outland or inland.

Thanks :) I'm actually leaving Monday night for the long flight back home, so I have to say goodbye to this lovely (hot) weather until the beginning of February!! And I'm pretty sure they don't update myCIC or ECAS much from this end, it's a different work ethic over here :P
