Thanks alot that is very helpful, he hasn't got his passport stamped yet and he is still in Egypt and I didn't make the medical, I have also sent our marriage certificate translated and registered by fax to cic, now I want to know if he has been rejected or not??
At the minimum, do you know the UCI or file number? This way, your marriage certificate can be matched to the file. If not, it may not get into the file or take a long time to do so.
This is my own opinion only. CIC may or may not accept this information as it is, as it did not come from the applicant or his representative. CIC can be quite strict on these things, even to the spouse.
Strictly speaking, if your husband has not updated his family composition to include a wife (not even adding you as a dependent to go to Canada), it is a case of misrepresentation. That said, how that evidence is produced, and accepted to be true, only CIC would know. When/whether they will investigate, who knows.
Talk to your husband first to understand why he is doing this. Does he know that if you are not added to the new family composition information, even if he manages to squeeze through and go to Canada, you will never be able to be sponsored. This means the end of the relationship. Is that what he wants? Or does he think that he needs to apply as a single due to express/professional immigrant class?
If your attempts at conversations do not work...I hate to bring religion into all this, so don't take any offense. As both of you belong to a strong Christian organization, perhaps you can get help from the pastor/priest to talk to your husband. Perhaps he will be influenced by people of authority in the religious community.
