I applied for permanent residency(via Express Entry) while being a visitor in Canada.
I chose "Canada" as my country of residence when I submitted my application.
I put Canadian addresses (where I stayed for the past 4 months) in my travel history section and also as a current address. Will this be an issue?

So my situation is as follows:
- I created my EE profile around mid-April.
- I entered Canada with an ETA as a visitor around mid-July. It was right after I quit my job in my home country so I just wanted to take some time off and travel around British Columbia.
- I received my ITA on September 5th.
- I gathered all the documents and applied for permanent residency and received eAOR on October 26th.
---> Between the period (mid-July~until now) of my travel as a visitor in Canada, I stayed at 3 places. I rented a place in West Vancouver(Mid July~End of July), Coquitlam(End of July~September) and Burnaby(September~until now), solely for a place to stay while travelling. I put the West Vancouver address(my boyfriend's address) as my mailing address and Burnaby address as a current address. And I put all the addresses in my travel history section and listed the period I stayed at each place.

I never thought this could be an issue until now. This morning I randomly came across to this thought and searched online. I found few answers in Quora that you're eligible to apply for PR from any country, even as a visitor in Canada, but you cannot put a Canadian address as your current address. And few answers even say you cannot apply for PR in Canada at the first place. So I'm really confused and worried at the moment...
Can somebody help me with this issue, please? And is there a possibility that my application for PR could be rejected because of this?

Most likely uninformed BS. I'm 99% sure there is no such restriction. Did these answers refer to any official source?

The only thing you need to be careful of is to update your current address when you leave Canada otherwise they will ask you to send passport to Ottawa for stamping or attending a "landing interview".

I didn't see any official source of information, but few questions suggested not to put Canadian address as your current address becuase you're just visiting Canada, not receiving any mails etc etc. So I've been travelling in Canada since mid-July and by the time I submitted my app(Oct 26th) I chose "Canada" as my country of residence. Will this be okay as well?
I've been travelling here since July, so I had a feeling that Canada is a country of residence for me. Should I have put my country of nationality instead since I'm just a visitor here?

I'm not sure if the visitor visa is classified as a residence visa or not. Considering the visitor visa is officially called a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV), I believe choosing Canada as your current country of residence is correct. However, lets see if a few more experienced people chime in.
