Dear seniors,
I applied for Canada immigration in 2010 for better future of my kids, but luck didn’t favor me and I have been waiting since then. We are expecting our MR in coming months. Now problem is, my husband used to take alcohol and never had any health problem, but last year he diagnosed with jaundice so he gave up alcohol. Lately due to some stomach pain he visited doctor and after investigation got to know that he is having chronic liver disease and an initial stage of cirrhosis which is non-reversible. My husband needs a long term treatment, as his condition is critical and he will not get medical clearance if we get MR now, my husband insisting me to send request to VO for he is not accompanying us. He wants me and kids to get visa first and he will apply later in family class.
I am in shock, our Canada dream getting shattered, we have lost many opportunities in wait of this visa and now this is. We are not very well off in our country and want better future for our kids. Now i am worried for my husband too. :'(
I am still not in condition to take decision. Please suggest what will be the right decision at this moment.
If he is not accompanying us, does his medical condition be a hindrance in getting visa for me and kids.
Can we ask for extension of medical till his condition get better and stable.
Can he get visa in family class later? So many questions. :'(
Please help me with appropriate suggestion.
