Plan to sponsor my boyfriend as conjugal partner

Hello!
I am planning to sponsor my boyfriend as conjugal partner. We have been on a continuous relationship for 6 years. He was married (with a son) before but has been legally separated from his ex-wife. And their annulment is ongoing up to this time. I am also legally separated with annulment ongoing in both of our country (same). I am already a permanent resident in Canada. We wanted to live together. That's why I am eager to sponsor him as my conjugal partner. We did not live together like a common-law partner. When I was in our country, he was in the other country as foreign worker. We see each other only during his vacations in between or after his work contract. There was a time when he was not able to find a job abroad and had to stay in our country for more than a year. I was also there that time but we just see each other when we are going on a date, during family activities, or if he visits my house where my daughter lives. He is staying in his auntie's house. We live separately.
Please I need your kind and expert advice if I am eligible to sponsor him as conjugal partner. Great thanks!

From what you said, I don't think you would qualify as a conjugal relationship.

For a conjugal relationship application to be successful, there need to be some extreme circumstances as to why you cannot live together. There doesn't seem to be in your case. Working or living in different countries is not a good reason, because if you really wanted to live together, you could.

Sorry.

Are you both from the Philippines?

If so the conjugal app would have a good chance of success due to the fact there is no divorce allowed, and it's illegal for 2 people to live with each other while married to someone else.

Agreed. This is very common and we've seen many cases such as this on the forum.

Your boyfriend's country of origin is key.

Yes. We are both from the Philippines. Annulment proceedings in the Philippines really takes time. We wanted to live together as common-law partner. But we just can't. In the eyes of the Phillipine law, though we have our annulment ongoing, we are still considered as "married". That's why I want him to join me here in Canada so he could file a divorce. And I am planning to file a divorce too so we could have our marriage here.

They would be somewhere in the Family Sponsorship section of the forum. I would try using the search function to search for the word "conjugal".
