Notice – Strike Action

June 11, 2013 — The Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers (PAFSO) union is currently taking strike action. PAFSO union members responsible for processing visa applications have been walking out of offices in Canada and overseas.

Posted processing times for both temporary and permanent resident visa applications do not take into account work stoppages.

Anyone applying for a visa should anticipate delays and submit their application as far in advance as possible.

Contingency plans are already in place to ensure all offices remain open and are providing at least a minimum level of service. Priority will be placed on urgent humanitarian applications.

CIC continues to closely monitor the situation.

Im still preparing my documents... I have a question yung sa education credential po ba pwde msend all at once to WES... 1,200 kasi yung fee per sending. As an applicant diploma lang isend ko. Then iba pa ung s university fee plus sending din. And other than photocopy of my diploma andtranscripts ano pa po ba need ng WES?

PLEASE HELP :(

My mom had already finished her interview earlier. And CIC told her to wait for about 6 to 8 weeks for PR card.
She really needs to go back here due to personal reasons. In what aspects does CIC consider the urgent processing of PR? How long will it take? Thanks!

hello po mga kababayan. For those who got their visa, question lang po about Proof of Fund. Did Visa office call your Employer and your Bank to check employment and proof of fund. When did they call after or before medical. thnx for reply God bless us all

Yup, hope somebody can reply..I should be asking the same query..

And what is the probability that the officer will call you, you're employer and the bank??

Thank you so much in advance for replying. :)
