In what instances the VO asks for additional documents? aside from CLP may ibang common na reasons po ba na hinihingian ng VO?

hi vineyard, thats what i also notice when i welcome you to the forum, sabay tayo ng timeline with westpoint, actually nauna pa nga ako nagsubmit ke westpoint ng 3 days pero sabay sabay yata by noc ang pagbukas ng appl sa CIO kaya pare-pareho tayo sept 27.

till now la pa ako balita sa CEM, after AOR la na ako email na natanggap, ano pala ang hinihingi sayo na addtl docs?

galing nga ng timeline ni westpoint, nakakainggit kc gusto ko parati ko sya kasabay, hehehe, pero i know what she's been through and all i feel is happiness for her that she's full of blessing this time around..

Orchard, Yes, sabay sabay ata na e forward from CIO to VO mga docs natin...maari naka monitor visa officer to this forum at +1 sa mga seniors....he!he!he!he! ;D ;D ;D kaya na una siya kay sa atin. The V.O asked lang authorization letter....pupunta ata school ko.

Amazing, i think for instance the VO will ask for additional docs dahil may e clarify lang sa mga docs na e submit na natin.... if the VO satisfied sa mga docs natin i think no need na to ask for more. Pag nasa VO na docs natin it means we already passed the completeness stage. Authorization letter lang hiningi sa akin.

I see. has anyone here in the same situation gaya po ng amin na Common-law status nung nagsubmit ng application then now married, Do we still have to submit proofs of CLP or just the marriage certificate? I was thinking if I will still include our photos namin nung mag-bf/gf to present together with the NSO marriage certificate( which we're still waiting for it to be released)

hi,

most CLPs are asked for an interview for verification in case the proof doesnt satisfy the officer, but since your married already, inform the VO immediately so that they will ask you for the NSO marriage contract ..interviews are scheduled so it might cause a delay on your processing..

Just as I thought na baka nga ganun mangyari. Can I update them via email muna? We do not have NSO marriage certificate on hand pa po kasi, If we do will they ask for the marriage contract agad agad? We went kasi sa agency and they said later nalang namin i-update stauts namin kapag may NSO copy on hand na. Okay lang naman sa akin ang ganun para isahang padala ng letter and certificate pero I just think na iemail muna ang embassy kahit wala pa NSO copy namin.

About sa interview, did u mean even if we're married we will still be invited for interview dahil we applied po as common-law? please enlighten me on this one. tia

hi,

as long as the VO doesn't know that your married they will still consider you as CLP.. your agency told you to hold informing because it takes time for the NSO cert to be released...(for example i got married on december, yet on feb..we still dont have an NSO certified marriage cert)..however,when you start to receive RBVO, the VO is doing their background checks already..so in case they finish on a fast pace which is what's happening on MI3 applicants..they will still consider you CLP..i will honestly tell you to inform the visa office regarding your status so that in case they ask for an NSO certificate you can communicate that you still dont have and ask for an alternative..still you have an agency and i guess they are the EXPERTS

yeah they maybe are experts but i don't know ;D. Honestly they did drive me crazy last time, I had to re-sort our documents because it wasn't in order :(

Would you mind to help me regarding the format or template when e-mailing the CEM for update? ty

pahabol :D
in absence of NSO copy, do they accept certified true copy of marriage cert from the Local civil registrar?

hello guys..sinu dito ang client ng CIC agency na nagka PPR na? thanks.. :)

hi ji,
can i ask some query? I have already assigned a UCI nmbr and application nmber which was reflected on my dashboard sa agency account ko..sabi don, eligibility assessment received from CIO..is that already a sign of PER? kasi I have not received any email regarding this matter..I'm confuse and still in doubt hehehe..

thank you for time....

hi,

i cannot assure you that they accept certified true copy, however you can tell them the situation so that the officer will know and will advise you on the document to provide...

regarding e-mail,when sending them an email, just creat a formal letter and be sure to indicate your uci no. and apication no.,dont worry there is no format required as long as the officer will understand the content
PS: i know agencies are not that helpful, though not all still better to take charge of your application to not regret anything...

Goodluck =)

hi,

you already have an eligibility, all VO communications go to your agency, however you can check your application progress thru the canada website,go to "check my application status",log your uci number and other details.
