Dear Sajeels,

As of now it is hard to comment on 4 yr B. Pharma.

But i think better way is to check with canada B.Pharma course duration .

I think here to eligible & count Education point 2 main points will be main focus for regulated prof.

(1) Comparison of home country Bachelor V/s Canada`s Bachelor : Here think ICAS or WES comes with main role.

(2) To eligible to practice under regulated prof. : E.g. PEBC for Pharmacist. We need to wait n watch what they requires from foreign pharmacist.

This is purely assumptions from my side.

Regards
Mayank

Sajeel

In Canada B.Pharm of 4 years from India is valid as of now.

I have clear document evaluation and evaluating exam as well.

Best of luck.

Deal all,

To help you on it. I got it from other thread.

HOW TO ESTIMATE LANGUAGE POINTS FROM IELTS SCORES (UPDATED)
(under the proposed FSWC program)

Given the number of questions on calculating language points, I put together the following tables. Just look up your IELTS band for each section and add up the FSWC points.

Listening
IELTS CLB FSWC POINTS
5.5 or less <=6 Not eligible for FSWC
6.0 7 4 points
6.5 7 4 points
7.0 7 4 points
7.5+ 8+ 5 or 6 points (depending on where cut-off is defined for CLB 8 vs CLB 9 equivalency,
IELTS 7.5 is 5pts and IELTS band(s) approaching 9.0 would be 6pts)

Reading
IELTS CLB FSWC POINTS
5.5 or less <=6 Not eligible for FSWC
6.0 7 4 points
6.5+ 8+ 5 or 6 points (depending on where cut-off is defined for CLB 8 vs CLB 9 equivalency,
IELTS 6.5 is 5pts and IELTS band(s) approaching 9.0 would be 6pts)

Writing
IELTS CLB FSWC POINTS
5.5 or less <=6 Not eligible for FSWC
6.0 7 4 points
6.5+ 8+ 5 or 6 points (depending on where cut-off is defined for CLB 8 vs CLB 9 equivalency,
IELTS 6.5 is 5pts and IELTS band(s) approaching 9.0 would be 6pts)

Speaking
IELTS CLB FSWC POINTS
5.5 or less <=6 Not eligible for FSWC
6.0 7 4 points
6.5+ 8+ 5 or 6 points (depending on where cut-off is defined for CLB 8 vs CLB 9 equivalency,
IELTS 6.5 is 5pts and IELTS band(s) approaching 9.0 would be 6pts)

The FSWC points assume they continue using IELTS and that the 'equivalencies' stay similar based on:

In the proposed FSWC plan:
CLB/NCLC 7: 4 points per ability
CLB/NCLC 8: 5 points per ability
CLB/NCLC 9: 6 points per ability

and that previously (per OP-6):
Basic was given by CLB/NCLC 4 or 5 gave 1 point per ability up to 2 points max
For IELTS test results received on or after November 28, 2008, that was equivalent to:
Listening Reading Writing Speaking
4.5 - 5.0 3.5 - 4.5 4.0 - 5.0 4.0 - 5.0

Moderate was approx. CLB/NCLC 6 or 7 and gave 2 pts per ability
Listening Reading Writing Speaking
5.5 - 7.0 5.0 - 6.0 5.5 - 6.0 5.5 - 6.0

High was CLB/NCLC 8 +
Listening Reading Writing Speaking
7.5 - 9.0 6.5 - 9.0 6.5 - 9.0 6.5 - 9.0
Approx. CLB/NCLC 6 or 7

NOTE: This updated chart clears up the areas where the previous chart had uncertainty (e.g., 'maybe' categories for lower ranges) based on the OP-25 chart in section 9.7 (much clearer than the ranges in OP6!) It is now clear that the minimum score for CLB Level 7 is 6.0 across the board (not 6.5 for listening as I had estimated using linear distribution within the range)
