Hi Kinjal,

CIC will count total exp. to give points.

Make sure you have worked as Pharmacist for at least One year with the job roles job duties match with NOC :3131.

For second one try to find teaching job noc just to fill it.

Regards
Mayank

in the form they asked give preference for your jobs on which they will assess our application ...

any idea about experience point ...i mean will they give me point for my first experience or they will give me point for total year of experience

Eligibility criteria for federal skilled worker applications as of July 1, 2011

Under changes to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, federal skilled worker applications are assessed for eligibility according to the criteria listed below. Note: This does not apply to applicants intending to live in the province of Quebec.

These criteria affect you only if you applied on or after July 1, 2011. If your application was received before July 1, 2011, it will be processed according to the rules that were in effect at that time.

Note: If you are applying under one of the 29 eligible occupations, as of July 1, 2011, a maximum of 10,000 Federal Skilled Worker applications will be considered for processing in the following 12 months. Within the 10,000 cap, a maximum of 500 federal skilled worker applications per eligible occupation will be considered for processing each year.

These limits do not apply to applications with an offer of arranged employment.

Is my application eligible for processing?

For your application to be eligible for processing, you must include the results of your official language proficiency test, and either:

have a valid offer of arranged employment,
OR
be a skilled worker who has had one year of continuous full-time or equivalent part-time paid work experience in at least one of the following eligible occupations within the last ten years:
0631 Restaurant and Food Service Managers
0811 Primary Production Managers (Except Agriculture)
1122 Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management
1233 Insurance Adjusters and Claims Examiners
2121 Biologists and Related Scientists

7312 Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanics
7371 Crane Operators
7372 Drillers & Blasters - Surface Mining, Quarrying & Construction
8222 Supervisors, Oil and Gas Drilling and Service

NOTE: the occupations above are all Skill Type 0 (managerial occupations) or Skill Level A (professional occupations) or B (technical occupations and skilled trades) on the Canadian National Occupational Classification list.

If you are not sure if you should apply as a skilled worker, you can use the eligibility tool to get an idea of whether your application would be eligible for processing.

If you apply and do not meet the above criteria, you will be informed of this and your processing fee will be refunded.

Would you like to share strategies to find job in canada as we are fellow pharmacist from India.
With regards

hi gksh07

Dear I am B.Pharma M.B.A but havent mentioned mba in my application.
Well after receiving my P.R and landing my first emphasis would be on
finding any job whether odd or good so that there may not be any
fund problem. side by side i will gather as much knowledge as i can
to be a pharmacist. also there is a scope of indian community
living and working in canada .those people may be a good source
of information. just start gathering information about them from
your locality which might help u in future.

dear allzz...
as i applied in last year but i received back my application with letter from CIC saying that i failed to apply before cap reached and now i'm preparing to reapply again.
i understand that pharmacists are again there in the new list of NOC but i want to know exactly if there are any changes in the requirements from the last year and what are the changes exactly rather than the fact that only 500 applications will be accepted not 1000 as last year??
is there changes in age? or in IELTS? I did my IELTS last october and i got WRITING 6.5, READING 5.5, LISTENING 7, SPEAKING 7.
I need your help guys to apply as soon as possible and prevent the last year mistake to lose the chance because i applied 10 days late only!
thanks and good luck for everyone

Hi Moyrzg,

To help you understand read the date of documents at the botttam left corner of file.

The link of EG7 ( Instruction guide ) is created on Feb. 2011. so its old .

I advise all my friends again to check with date of documents/forms. Make sure you fill updated forms...otherwise one have to see Negative report from CIO.

So be careful & calm while filling forms & reading guideline.

Regards,
Mayank
