I am waiting for ITA. So I thought I will start with PCC process. Can anyone guide me how to get PCC in India? I am from India.

You can get PCC from your local PSK (Passport Seva Kendra), it can be applied online, the same way passport is applied.

if you don't have PSK then just walk in to a police station and ask them for one ,they should be able to point you in the right direction.

Apply online at Passport Seva - Easiest, fastest and most recommended. You can actually wait for an ITA as PCC now comes in pretty fast.

I got the ITA and now i am in the process of filling my e-APR. I have a question regarding the PCC, i am originally from Chandigarh but now i am in Bangalore as i am working here. My passport has the home address i.e. Chandigarh. Do i need to get PCC from both the places or just Chandigarh would be fine?

Don't - you get PCC at PSK very quickly. Once you are ready to submit all your docs, then apply for PCC. People generally get it the very same day.

Apply at PSK, not at a Police Station. PSK gives you an all India PCC.

Like when i try to register they ask me the location of the passport office. should i put bangalore or chandigarh?

Bangalore PSK,, All your proofs are for current address.

just one last question. so i stay with my cousin in Bangalore. All the bills and rent agreement is on his name, how do i give proof of my current address?

There is no work around, you need to have some proof for that same place. Bank Statements are the easiest.

Given the high number of rejections on Local Police PCC's, it is wise to go only for a PSK PCC.

I don't think you can apply from local police station. Get an appointment with the Passport Seva Kendra office, take your required docs and submit them, the PCC is issued post police verification.
