Hello everyone,

I'm a former resident of Saudi Arabia and now applying for immigration. I received a letter from CIC requesting to submit a police clearance for my spouse since she lived with me in Saudi Arabia during my work contract there. She never worked and was only a dependent in my Iqama.

I'm currently here in Canada on a work permit, Does anyone know how to get a PCC for my spouse or is there any other way to go about this? My spouse is a Pakistani national, does anyone have any idea if the pakistani consulate provide any kind of letter of good conduct?

The Royal Embassy of KSA have poste a note on their website that they don not provide PCC anymore. See link;

The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia regrets to inform you that starting November 3, 2010, we no longer can obtain police clearance for former residents of Saudi Arabia through this embassy.

To obtain a police clearance from Saudi Arabia you are advised to contact your embassy here in Canada or in Saudi Arabia for more information.

Thats is true they are no more issuing the pcc.I am from India and till now I am unable to figure out how to obtain pcc.I have visited both Indian Embassy and saudi consulate but both have clearly stated that they cannot do anything in this regard.I am not sure about Pakistan Embassy.Try contacting them

I called up CIC Call Center and was told that a rejection letter from the national embassy (stating that they do not provide PCC for non resident) will suffice together with an explanation letter detailing what has been done to apply for a PCC. The VO will then decide on the basis of this documentation.

you will be lucky if ur embassy is prepared to do that because Indian embassy is not even prepared to do that.
