Hi,
does anyone know if you can pay the months prior to the release of the care card in BC? If you do I do?

THANKS

Are you asking about obtaining coverage prior to becoming eligible?

If so, no, but you can buy gap coverage until you are covered by MSP. I bought mine (three years ago when I did this) from Manulife.

Hello,
my care card is valid from the 1st of August and wanted to know if you could pay for the month of July, in July this because my son was born and I wanted to avoid paying some bills that might be covered under care card.

Thanks

No. That would be like attempting to purchase homeowners insurance after your house had already burned down and expecting the insurance company to cover the loss.

But if the doctor who operated on me send me the bill in August and I am covered by the MSP can ask the doctor to charge it to the health service?

It is the service date that matters, not the billing date. Sorry.
