Got a question here.
We started our relationship since 2016 and got married last year 2018.

My husband had a past relationship before he knew me and he didnt know if it is considered as common law relationship? Is it necessary to reveal it in the application?

I don't believe so. If he was married, then yes, because he would need to show that he was later free to remarry. However, a previous common-law relationship would be deemed terminated by the fact that he later married someone else.

They are not married but they stayed in the same roof when they are in a relationship. Because it was asked in the appication about the past relationships for the last 5yrs. So it's not considered common-law considering they lived together?

Yes, that would be a common-law relationship. If it specifically asks about ANY relationship, common-law or marriage, then I guess it will need to be declared. Which form/question is this? It's only common-law if they were cohabiting for more than 12 consecutive months.
