Hey guys just wanted to share my landing experience. I was on a holiday since doing my landing so could not update.

Category: FSW Inland
PP to Ottawa- 3rd July
Delivered to Ottawa- 6th July
Approved- 15th July
PP returned- 26th July
Landing- 26th July at Sarnia at around 7:30 pm

So I got my PP back in the afternoon by CanadaPost and left right away to the Sarnia border as I live in London.

I crossed the bridge and then the US side was super slow in processing the document. Everyone is lazy at Sarnia plus their system crashed. They were cordial and very helpful. I had a US visa so no fingerprints were taken or anything, just made the letter and gave it to me once the computer started working again. No idea why but their system crashes every time I cross the border. (Had to wait 2 hours at SFO once after flying from India through Frankfurt.)

Cross the border back an the CBP agent literally blasted me for coming to Sarnia. She probably didn't want to do it, but she did it anyways and she had no option because I had left the country and since I was on implied status I didn't have a valid TRV as I was on implied status for her to send me in and ask me to get an inland landing appointment. Asked us to sit on the side for 20 mins. Asked the basic questions about criminal charges thing and signed the papers and we were good to go.

The thing was while we were doing our landing, there was no one in the building in Sarnia except us. Completely empty. But it was a Wednesday so no idea. But seemed much faster than what I had read about Niagara and other places.

From other forum, someone has given below information.. Helpful for guys stuck in IP2 . Especially those who know that their VO is ottawa

"Guys at IP2: I just spoke to a very friendly agent who confirmed that the application has been approved on the exact date that my application went into IP2. I asked her about the long wait and she gave me a reason that I had not really thought about. She said the office has been dealing with a massive back log that has extended passport wait times. So they are currently focussed on clearing that backlog before issuing a PPR email. She said that since the app is still within their 6 month target they have not prioritized sending out the PPR email. I hope this gives some relief to the guys at IP2!

1. Changes are high that most IP2 status applications are already approved at CPCO but haven't issued PPR to clear passport backlog first. Again, this is just a conjecture.

2. Those waiting for passport stamping from CPCO might start getting passports back sooner than the currrent average wait time of 21 days.

Correct. Our friend has just got that info a few hours back. May be it was a recent decision by the CPCO office. We have to give a few days atleast to see results. Let's keep an eye on the tracker and hope all waiting for 20+ days receive your passports soon! Good luck to you bro! Hope you receive it this week. Keep us posted.

I really hope they cover as many as they can before long weened. my passport was delivered on 20th July so I think I have to wait 1 more week

It seems like the maximum wait time from PP delivery to Approval is 20 days and wait time from PP delivery to COPR/PP is 25 days.

My PP was delivered on 7/10 so I predict an Approval on Friday 7/28 or Monday 7/31 (although I feel 7/27 is my day ). COPR delivery on Thursday 8/3.

Finally decision made : Approved

No message just checked the account and it says read

You were told that your passport was received on 20th although it was delivered on 10th. I am in the same situation, mine was delivered on 12th but the agent told me that they received it on 21st. I guess they are randomly sending out packages for processing.
