Also, just curious, any reason why they do it in multiple ways? Does either of this approach signify anything (of course apart from the request for passports itself ) ?

Congrats. How did you know you are approved? From MyCIC account?

I happened to know when I logged in to the account.
They also sent an email for the update on the evening.

Passport sent - 02Feb2019
Passport delivered - 05Feb2019
Approved in EE Profile : 07Feb2019

I have not received any email or document yet.
