Hi All,

I sent the Passports and all other documents through USPS on Jan 28, 2019 which was delivered to the Visa Application Center, NY on Jan 30, 2019.

I have not received any further communication from CVAC or VFS and I am getting worried about the whereabouts of my Passports and documents. I tried contacting VFS contact center and they were not able to help me as they do not have any information on 'Permanent Residency' applications.

Has anyone else sent the passports to the NY VAC? Please share your timeline. Thanks

Hi guys,
I sent my passport on Feb 2, and it was received today(Feb 4). So when they finish stamping and printing CoPR, it will show on Mycic account and notify me through email. Is that right?

Yes the pickup happens from a place called Gatineau, Quebec.

Yes, I saw that. It went from there back to their facility in Ottawa and now to Mirabel in Quebec. The status now shows "delay beyond our control". Not sure why.

Must be because of weather. Mirabel is last stop in Canada. It should enter US tomorrow. Nothing to worry. When FedEx says that it basically means they will not deliver by 10AM but by evening. That's it.

Hi Guys -

PPR - 7th Jan
Passport Sent - 21 Jan
Passport Received - 23 Jan (FedEx Tracking did not show any update till 1st Feb. pending delivery last known destination Ottawa,ON local facility, then suddenly it delivery changed to Delivered on 1st Feb and the delivery date was 23 Jan and received by R.OSIE, the changed happened after several follow ups with FedEx local facility at Ottawa, ON. Not sure if this is real delivery or they manually updated it to back date delivery due to pressure).

GC Key:- No updates at all. Tried calling several times to IRCC , always the same update please wait till 15 days are over and we could not find out your passport in the system.
My Wife Primary - India (VFS Delhi, Visa stamped and CoPR received on 24 Jan)

Please help with any input/suggestions. Its already been 10 days now, I am really worried now.

Still No repsonse from Fedex or CIC. No email update, nothing. Really worried now. Is it normal. It has now crossed the passport processing time limit. Any suggestions please.

What is average time frame of getting the passport back? And how long is the COPR valid? I remember I gave my medical exam on Aug 31,2018. Will the COPR which they send me valid till Aug 31,2019 only?
