whats wrong with my passport

I also opted for courier service, though mine was to & from Mumbai....I dont think the delay should be because of that.

I was getting a bit nervous a day or two before i actually got the PP back & i asked my consultant if there is any issue. What he told me was....that your landing papers (i guess he means COPR) is sent from Canada & that may cause a delay if CIC is over-burdened....cant verify this for sure but hope this can give you some indication....

Anyways, just my 2 cents....as long as you have proof that you have sent your passport with the allotted 30 days...there should be no issues...everything will work out fine

So I finally got an update that my passport has been dispatched from Canadian Consulate to VFS. I think if there is a huge delay try calling them. I called them and they said they will look into this. And after 3 hours my status changed to dispatch. Coincidence ?

I am like the epitome of huge delay. Send my PP on 22nd Feb. Still no update.

Which number did you call? I called them. One lady picked up and said she cannot help much since the visa stamping section does not have an extension.

man, waiting in every phase is ridiculous. 1st it was getting PPR and now this. yours is 1 week shy of 1 month. just to stamp passports.

I have 1 month of notice period, but it is upto the manager. I am hoping he would cut me some slack and I can fly as soon as possible.

Finally Update .... PP dispatched.

Calling does help (or might be just coincidence). I called, within 1 hour got the mail saying that PP dispatched.

How many days will it take for VFS Bangalore to transfer our passport to New Delhi Visa application centre?
My last date for 30 days period will end on March 22nd, and I will submit my passport to VFS Bangalore tomorrow (March 17th).
