I just received my OCI card

Does anyone know how long BLS takes to pick up the OCI? CGI shows they have received the OCI on 11th. Can I expect to get the OCI this week?

I applied on Sep 28, till Oct 17th it showed "no records found" for me.

You need to enter the Canada PP number and the tracking no starting with CANTXXX ... it takes a while for it to change from no record found to any status.

I applied in BLS, Toronto on 28th Sept with appointment. I got the cancelled PP on 24th OCT. But have not received OCI yet. Eagerly waiting for it as I am planning to go to India.

I got my cancelled PP today. You are right the BLS tracking shows OCI as dispatch of original certificate, but CGI website shows under processing.

I received my original CoPR copy through Purolator. walk-in application date 28th Sep. The Passport cancellation request shows as processing at CGI. OCI application shows no record found.

How do you track OCI? Do you use https://ociservices.gov.in/statusEnqury? what is File Reference No?

In BLS website for me it shows 28th Oct. I can track only the PP cancellation application. The OCI tracking shows record not found.

BLS told me that the CoPR will come in about 4 weeks from date of application. Cancelled Indian PP is also around that time. OCI is 6 weeks. I have applied in Sep 28. I only see that PP as processing at CGI when i try the tracking no. I dont see any update for the OCI yet(record not found).

what do you put for file reference number? I submitted PP surrender and OCI together on Sep-28th. When i track in BLS it just shows update for PP surrender stating that it is under processing. It does not show any update for the OCI.

Try early morning. As the slots for the day becomes available they get filled up pretty fast. I found 2 days with empty slots, you just need to try couple of times.

Yes, correct. BLS took 2 photos and one was affixed to surrender application so total required 3 photos.

i took my photos from Costco. Some of the employees are really good and they have system which tells them the photo requirements for different categories.
